Thomas Beale

Principal at Ars Semantica, openEHR Foundation Specifications lead

Thomas Beale is a senior software and semantic architect. Among others, his developments include the Archetype Definition Language, the ODIN object notation, and the openEHR Task Plan Model language. Thomas has been involved in international e-health standards development (OMG, HL7, CEN, IHTSDO), including as an IHTSDO Technical Committee member 2009-2012. He has worked on the openEHR architecture since 2001.

Diego Boscá

Diego Boscá is a software architect with more than 10 years of experience in the development of interoperable health information systems. Diego is part of the openEHR Specification Editorial Committee, and an expert on the adoption of health information standards such as ISO 13606, HL7 CDA, and HL7 FHIR.

Vicent Moncho

Hospital of Denia, Spain

Vicent is the Chief Information Officer at Denia Hospital and responsible for the adoption of the Electronic Health Record at Denia Hospital. He has also been an advisor in regional projects for the adoption of EHRs in primary care and has driven the strategy for his hospital to reach EMRAM 7 maturity level.

Ian McNicoll

Ian is a Medical doctor director of freshEHR Clinical Informatics, Chief Information Officer of inidus and Co-chair of the openEHR Foundation. Consulting clients include Moscow City Council, government agencies of Norway and Sweden, CGI, Lockheed Martin, PRSB, NHS England Code4Health, NHS Digital, NHS Scotland, NHS Wales, Marand, Ocean Informatics, DIPS, Tieto and the Ripple OSI project.

Arturo Romero

Arturo is the director of the Spanish National Project for Electronic Health Record. Since 1990 Arturo has advised the adoption of terminologies and health information standards at a regional and national level in Spain.

Luis Marco-Ruiz

Research Fellow (Health Data Science)

Luis is as researcher at the Norwegian Centre for E-health Research advising the Norwegian health authorities on the adoption of clinical information standards and biomedical ontologies. In addition, he works as a semantic interoperability specialist at the Peter L. Reichertz Institute for Medical Informatics (Hannover Medical School).

Carlos Fernández-Llatas, Ph.D.

Research coordinator in SABIEN Group at ITACA institute at Universitat Politècnica de València

He received the PhD degree in Computer Science in the Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence Program of that university. He is member of the IEEE CIS Task Force on Process Mining and founder Member of the Process Oriented Data Science for Healthcare Alliance.

Rune Pedersen

Department manager at NSE

Rune is the director of the patient Pathways Department at the Norwegian Centre for e-Health Research and associate professor at the University of Tromsø. Rune participates as researcher and advisor in health information standards and terminologies for the Norwegian Health Authorities.
