BOOST

BOOST – Training for the adoption of effective, sustainable, and demand-driven innovation, promoting digital transformation toward a value-based system.

BOOST is an innovative educational program designed to address critical gaps in the adoption of digital innovations in healthcare in Europe. This project aims to train healthcare professionals to implement sustainable, scalable, and market-oriented digital solutions, facilitating the transformation toward a value-based system.

The program, structured as an intensive four-week course, uses a learning-by-doing methodology that combines real-world case studies with specific methodological tools. Through an interdisciplinary approach, participants develop skills in problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and assessing the sustainability and adoption of innovations.

Main objectives:

  • Analyze the root causes of problems in healthcare systems and understand the incentives of stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the readiness of digital innovations to align them with organizational needs.
  • Design sustainable strategies for the adoption of innovations, considering both the demands of healthcare workers and the market.

BOOST is led by a consortium with extensive experience in healthcare innovation training, comprised of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), AQuAS, and RISE, and has a solid track record in European educational activities such as iRaise, Healthcare Transformation Academy, and other EIT Health projects.
