iRAISE

iRaise is an education programme that targets multidisciplinary teams of professionals from healthcare organizations and provides them with the skills and knowledge to tackle their unmet needs, frame the possible solutions and pick the right vehicle that best fits them toward adopting innovation while guaranteeing future sustainability and high value care delivery.

The professionals will improve their interpersonal communication skills, team training, and critical thinking, all of which are critical to improving the clinical care, education, and research mission of any healthcare organisations.

iRaise is eleven weeks – 60 hours intensive online programme, through a hybrid learning model, which includes a blend of both synchronous and asynchronous sessions. iRaise delivers 6 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).

An iRaise participant must:

  • be a multidisciplinary team composed by 3-5 members from the same healthcare organization with multi-disciplinary roles from different departments related to the innovation adoption process (as health care professional or hospital staff or managers or clinicians or executive professionals). Multidisciplinary team composed by more than 5 members can still apply as long the participation of these extra members does not imply any additional cost to iRaise Education Programme
  • have identified a digital innovation challenge to be worked during iRaise Education Programme
  • be fluent in English, both written and spoken

The methodology for the multidisciplinary teams with an unmet need is:

  • Flipped classroom: With different exercises and some sessions that are video recorded
  • In-house real challenges: Based on theory & hands-on training
  • Mentorship meetings weekly with experienced lecturers and performing participants follow – up
  • They´re participating in different breakfast offering opportunities to teams to have a more complete overview about their challenge

With all those pieces we can maximize the chances for the success of team innovation adoption.
